Have you been to the HUB in Homewood?

August 10, 2016

At Tower Homes, we have a passion for new construction, new concepts and exciting things happening in the Magic City. Price Hightower, the President of Tower Homes is always on the look out for unique concepts. It didn’t surprise me when he suggested I check out the HUB in Homewood – a new co-working office space concept for Birmingham’s true collaborators.

Interesting Concept

The HUB is a new community-centered workspace located at 174 Oxmoor Road next door to Seeds Coffee. The HUB offers co-working space with perks such as high-speed Internet and access to a community garden. It also includes conference rooms, a smoothie bar, and private desk space. You can choose to come alone and work, think or meet the local community or you can hold your meetings in the re-defined workspace.

More Than Expected

When I visited the HUB I expected a space similar to Starbucks Coffee or another trendy coffee place. After I walked in and met Jon Lawler, the owner, I quickly learned that the HUB is way more than a coffee shop. The HUB is a community, a family, a group of people, all differing dramatically in nature, personality, & profession, who all thirst after more than just coffee & a good wi-fi connection.

Become Inspired at the HUB

The HUB’s inspiring interior and positive atmosphere make you want to hang out there. This space is far away from a traditional office concept. It is functional and designed for individuals or teams from all different backgrounds to meet, work or get inspired. It’s hard to resist this re-defined work and community space. Once you try the HUB, you want to keep coming back to work, meet, play or simply enjoy the local community and the best coffee in Birmingham.
