Earlier this year, my wife and I bought a Tower Home, our first new home, and so far we love it! She says that it’s our starter home, but I see it as the home that will be our last. For us, buying a Tower Home was an easy decision. Although Tower represents themselves as the BEST homes around, my family came up with our own way of proving that they truly are the BEST! Some of our key reasons for choosing Tower and why we love our new home are:
Brand New: That means our weekends will not be spent at local hardware stores or on home projects. Having nothing to fix means there’s no honey-do list for this guy! Brand new is great!
Energy Efficient: Our home has an awesome water-saving plumbing feature that we learned about during our orientation with the builder. Not only does this device help us save on monthly utility bills without us having to try, but the energy-efficient insulation and spray home seals that Tower implements as one of their core building standards also help significantly when it comes to conserving energy.
Solid Warranty: Tower has a wonderful warranty process that covers our home and keeps us at peace. We don’t have to worry about our heating and cooling system, appliances, windows, etc. This security protects us from worrying about how we would manage repair costs if something were to break. We stand secure and confident in knowing that Tower will answer any warranty item in a timely manner. They built our home to last, and they are committed to taking care of any situation that may arise.
True Quality: Tower put real hardwood floors in our house. The appliances were top name brand and all matched for a unison look. My friends that bought resale homes are envious of my home AND my yard. They feel that Tower not only built a beautiful home, but also saw to it that the quality of our yard was equally as exceptional.
One final thing that comes to mind about buying a Tower Home is the value we got in buying NEW. Birmingham has a strong housing market. However, I feel like we paid no premium over the many resale homes we considered. I just can’t believe that compared to all the homes we looked at, that now everything we have is new. I don’t know what the value of the high efficiency, warranty, and the things I don’t need to fix are, but it seems like these benefits were provided at no additional cost. I would recommend Tower Homes to anyone, even if you don’t think you need to move. It is an honor to live in a new home built by Tower.
